Tooth Fluoridation

The effect of fluoride on the mineralization of a child's tooth enamel

Fluoride, one of the most active chemical elements, takes part in the mineralization of teeth. A lack of fluoride in water and food is a cause of rapidly developing caries.

Children’s baby and permanent teeth have less dense enamel and dentin, so caries-causing microbes can easily damage a child’s unprotected teeth. To prevent caries, it is advisable for your children to have their teeth fluoridated in good time, from an early age.

Fluoridation is done with fluoride-containing varnishes or liquids that strengthen the enamel, making the tooth more resistant to cariogenic microbes.

Our clinic provides every type of dental care your little ones or teenagers may need. We carry out thorough examinations and prevention, treat baby and permanent teeth, professionally deal with the consequences of dental trauma, and also treat inflammations of the oral mucosa.

For filling baby teeth we use “Twinky Star” colored fillings, and the child chooses the color. These beautiful, functional glitter fillings release fluoride and protect the tooth from caries.
